Started in late 2023, the ARCC came together when some of our queer artist friends in the local area were feeling unwelcome at other markets & festivals. Together we have grown the Rainbow Art Market into a fun monthly event featuring exclusively local LGBTQIA+ Artist. We host the market INDOORS at Downtown Fitness, so we are able to show rain or shine! Come Check Us Out!
Run Away To Our Circus!
As part of the Rainbow Art Market, we have also brought local queer performers together to host fundraising events to help local good causes. This started with our POUNDS FOR GOOD CHALLENGE and has led to our seasonal Circus event.
Our organization in the first half of 2024 raised over 1,500-Pounds of Food & Hygiene Supplies for local outreach organizations, 500-pounds of Animal Food for Shelters, over $500 for the Macon County Public Library, and over $2500 for various other local charitable organizations and direct mutual aid in Macon County. We work to uplift our local community through acts of kindness.
OUR NEXT EVENT
To the outside world, Madam Vyvyan’s Carnival of Curiosities™ is an eclectic menagerie of performers, artists, and even some cryptids who have banded together in Appalachia to excite and entertain those bold enough to come see their show.
